Mohammad Mesgarpour was born in Iran. He did his undergraduate work at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Iran and received a Bachelor of Art in Industrial Engineering - Systems and Analysis Planning. While pursuing a BA degree, he worked in Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran Khodro Industrial Group and MASAF (Industrial Journal of Industrial and Systems Engineering) .

 

In Fall 2004, he joined Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus for graduate studies. In 2006, he received his M.Sc. in Information Systems. In 2008, he completed his second Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at the same university. During his Master programs, he was working as a research and teaching assistant in Department of Industrial Engineering.

 

He moved to England to continue his study in Operational Research. He is a Ph.D. Research Student in School of Mathematics at University of Southampton from October 2008.

 

His area of interest is in field of Machine Scheduling, Runway Scheduling, Production and Operation management, and Information Systems.
